A flute probably made by Carl August Klemm (1769–1830), branded "Klemm Philada". In 1804, Klemm opened a workshop in his hometown of Plauen and then moved to Leipzig, where a few years later he started a music publishing business. I know nothing else about this enigmatic flute (is Philada an abbreviation of Philadelphia?) and I conclude with the hope that some expert will supplement these brief notes. Around the mouth hole there are signs of a blowing device that should facilitate the production of notes in the first and second octave, but not in the third,  depriving the flute of the possibility to modulate the notes: in short, a useless accessory. The instrument is sound, no breAks, good general condition. The flute is 606 mm long, has a sounding length of 530 mm, weighs 211 g, and is tuned to A435.
