Historical Flutes

I. Lot, La Couture Boussey

Despite a notable production of Boehm flutes in metal and wood, conical flutes and five-keyed flutes like the one I am presenting today, not much is known about Isidor Lot (1832-1885) except that he was the nephew of the very famous Louis Lot and that they probably collaborated with him. Isidor Lot's instruments are all of excellent workmanship and most often made of rosewood like the flute in question. Weight 308 g, overall lenght 625 mm, sounding lenght 545 mm, A 432.
