Josef Karl Felchlin (1800 - 1855, known as Charles) was a flute maker in Berne. This flute marked "Felchlin a Berne", with lyre and star on each joint, is an interesting baroque style flute dating the first half of the XIX century when probably the one key flutes were still looked for. Nice flute made of boxwood, a creck in the head joint, missing one bone ring, there is the tuning screw but cap is missing. Weight 233 g. overall lenght is 600 mm, sounding lenght 543 mm, pitch 432.
