Interesting Buffet flute with key on plates. It is unclear who made it, as there were so many Buffets and documentation is sparse. The flute could be dated to 1840 by the archaic key attachments, the very small holes, the circular blow hole and and the bone rings. It is a beautiful, carefully crafted flute.
