Laubé is a well known french flute maker. This flute marked on the headjoint "Laubé, La Couture-Boussey (EURE) breveté" comes from his workshop in La Couture Boussey, a small village in the Eure department dedicated to the production of musical instruments in general. Not much is known about this maker, who, at least in his early days, produced good-quality flutes. This flute was built circa 1880. On my website, I also feature an interesting Laubé clarinet. This flute is tuned to A 440 and weighs 391 g
