Josef Poschl was an appreciated flute maker in München in the first half of the XIX century. He produced old system and Boehm flutes (in this site we have an important Boehm ring flute by him). The flute offered here is a typical German Old System flute, descending to the B key. It is of excellent workmanship and, despite the worn pads, produces a beautiful, warm, and powerful sound. The flute is intact and complete, with a hairline crack on the sliding piece that does not alter the sound, as this piece is lined with brass tubing. The flute weighs 499g and is tuned to A440 with the sliding piece out 1cm. Please ask for more info and pictures.
