This beautiful flute continues our exploration of lesser-known but no less interesting French makers. Marked "F. Verrier Ainé Medaille a Lyon" on the headjoint, body, and foot, this flute presents itself as a high-quality product, and its sound, at least on the few notes it can produce (left-hand keys) and with its historical inlay, is absolutely astonishing. I find this exploration of flutes made by lesser-known craftsmen very interesting; it highlights French heritage.
