This interestingly crafted flute bears the inscription "Pellisson, Guinot & Blanchon, Lyon-Paris"—three names, what a fine team effort! Pellisson, Guinot, and Blanchon took over from the Couturier firm, which had prospered since 1812, and began manufacturing primarily brass instruments. The firm remained active until 1922 under these three names. They mostly produced brass instruments while relatively few flutes, one of which is the one offered today. Weight 430g, A 432.
