August Bonneville was one of the most respected flute makers in Paris between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He produced splendid flutes but relatively few piccolos, and almost all of them were made of wood. Here we have one of his rosewood piccolos, in excellent condition, serial number 5032, pitch 440, and weight 142 g.
